The Eastern Shore of Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay is steeped in history.
We are primarily an agricultural area with wonderful properties, both on the water and not.
The waters of our area are filled with Maryland Blue Crabs, Oysters, and fish. Our “signature fish” is the Striped Bass, which we refer to as Rockfish.
Each County on the Shore has a different “flavor”. The major counties we work in are Talbot, Dorchester, and Caroline Counties. We also serve Queen Anne’s and Kent Counties.
Talbot County is the home of Easton, St. Michaels, and Oxford. Fine dining and shops abound along with opportunities to live in an historic village or on the waterfront. Tilghman Island is a quaint fishing village.
Dorchester County is known as “The Land of Pleasant Living” and boasts the most shoreline on the Eastern Shore. We are home to Cambridge with a wonderful downtown and the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Resort, as well as the splendor of the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. You might include Hoopers Island and Taylors Island in your travels.
Caroline County is closest to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Delaware and its beaches. The Choptank and Tuckahoe Rivers flow through the county providing wonderful boating, fishing and hunting opportunities.
All three counties provide great fishing, hunting, boating, and the very special Eastern Shore way of life. Please see the “local info” tab for links to each county.
Give us a call and let us know how we can be of service to you. Thank you.
